Learning on Printing Technology in MALAYSIA

TRAINING BACKGROUND

     The training course on "Printing Technology" from October 04th
to October 29th, 2010 in Kuala Lumpur city, MALAYSIA.

     This training course to be conducted by Percetakan Nasional Malaysia Berhad
(PNMB) under Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP).

     Cambodia, Fiji, Kiribati, Laos PDR, Nigeria, Uganda and Vietnam will be invited;
1 person from Cambodia, 2 persons from Fiji, 1 person from Kiribati, 1 person from
Laos, 2 persons from Nigeria, 2 persons from Uganda and 2 persons from Vietnam.

     Percetakan Nasional Malaysia Berhad, the largest printing company in Malaysia,
was incorporated in January 1st, 1993. It was originally known as the Government
Printing Department that has a history dating back to 1888. At present, PNMB has
a wide range of printing machinery in all printing areas and in backed by experienced
technical personnel.

     The PNMB serves not only the Government but also the private sector. Among it's
products are print forms, annual reports, gazettes, computer forms... Besides
conventional printing, PNMB also offers various other printing services such as Digital
Printing, Smart Card, Automated Ticketing and Boarding Pass (ATB), Bar Coding
and Law Online.

     The MTCP was launched in 1980 to promote and facilitate technical cooperation
amongst developing countries based on the concept of self-reliance. The program also
encourages the exchange of relevant experience, pooling and sharing of resources
and development of complementary capabilities.
